WELCOME TO OUR COMMUNITY

That of God in everyone.

Come discover the joy of the teacher within.

Many of us were not raised in the Quaker tradition but found our way to Quakerism as adults or young adults. Whether you're a spiritual seeker, curious neighbor, or long-time Friend, we invite you to experience the Spirit with us.

We gather in silence to seek God's presence in our midst.

Quakers testify that when we listen to and respond faithfully to the Spirit it results in simplicity and integrity in our lives, in work for peace and justice, and a sense of community with each other and all creation.

OUR SHARED JOURNEY

300 Years in the Community

Since 1725, our meeting has been a steadfast presence on Long Island, witnessing three centuries of history. From our founding during colonial times through the American Revolution, Civil War, and into the modern era, we have maintained our commitment to peace, equality, and spiritual growth.

Our Stories

These videos offer a glimpse into Quaker faith and practice, from the core beliefs to our vision of the "big tent" of Quakerism that welcomes all. Through these voices and stories, discover how Friends search, question, and listen deeply together.
